2. Description of Service

FlashConvert is a file conversion service that allows users to:

• Convert files between different formats (video, audio, image, document)
• Upload files directly or access files from Google Drive
• Download converted files or save them to Google Drive
• Use GPU-accelerated conversion for faster processing

3. User Accounts

3.1 Google Sign-In

• Authentication is provided via Google OAuth
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account
• You must provide accurate and complete information

3.2 Account Termination

• You may disconnect your account at any time via Google account settings
• We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• ❌ Upload illegal, harmful, or copyrighted content you don't own
• ❌ Use the Service to distribute malware or viruses
• ❌ Attempt to hack, disrupt, or overload the Service
• ❌ Use automated tools to abuse the Service (bots, scrapers)
• ❌ Convert files containing child abuse material or other illegal content
• ❌ Violate any applicable laws or regulations

5. File Limits and Usage

• Maximum file size: 1 GB per file
• File retention: Uploaded and converted files are automatically deleted after 30 minutes
• Fair use: Excessive use may result in rate limiting or account suspension

6. Google Drive Access

• We ONLY access files you explicitly select for conversion
• We do NOT scan, index, or access other files in your Drive
• You can revoke Drive access at any time at: Google Permissions
• Converted files saved to Drive are subject to Google's storage policies

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Your Content

• You retain all rights to files you upload or convert
• You grant us a temporary license to process files during conversion
• This license ends when files are deleted (after 30 minutes)

7.2 Our Service

• FlashConvert's code, design, and trademarks are our property
• You may not copy, modify, or redistribute our Service

8. Service Availability

• The Service is provided "AS IS" without guarantees
• We strive for 99% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access
• We may perform maintenance with or without notice
• We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features
